Dermatitis of various etiology,

Dermatitis is an umbrella term for a range of inflammatory skin conditions of varying etiology. Common manifestations include erythema, scaling, vesicles, itching, and lichenification where there is chronic inflammation. Each type of dermatitis has distinct signs and symptoms; although, in practice, it may be difficult to differentiate among them and also among other inflammatory skin conditions. Commonly presents with dry, itchy skin. Typically there is erythema, scaling, vesicles, or lichenification in skin flexures. In infants, the extensor surfaces, cheeks, and forehead are preferentially affected.

Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, highly pruritic (itchy) inflammatory skin disease, and is one of the most common skin disorders in children. The disorder results in significant morbidity and adversely affects quality of life. Not only are patients affected by the social stigma of a visible skin condition, but the intense itching characteristic of the disease often leads to skin trauma and significant sleep disturbances. In addition, management of the condition necessitates the frequent application of emollients (agents that soothe, moisturize and soften the skin) and topical medications, as well as physician visits.

Irritant contact dermatitis is caused by direct toxicity and can occur in any person without prior sensitization. Allergic contact dermatitis is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction, which requires prior sensitization. Patients generally report pruritus, burning, erythema, swelling, and blistering with acute contact dermatitis, and pruritus, burning, erythema or hyperpigmentation, fissuring, and scaling with chronic contact dermatitis.

Seborrheic dermatitis – is a common inflammatory skin disorder that usually manifests as erythema and scaling of the scalp, nasolabial folds, and occasionally central face and anterior chest. It tends to worsen with stress.

Neurodermatitis, also often known as lichen simplex chronicus (LSC), is a localized skin condition involving repeated itching and scratching. The repeated scratching can cause the development of a characteristic plaque, or  thickening of the skin, known as lichenification. The exact cause of neurodermatitis is unknown, but research suggests that environmental factors, systemic disorders, and psychological factors may all play roles. Environmental skin irritants, such as tight clothing or a bug bite, may cause localized itching that initially triggers the persistent, repetitive scratching that characterizes neurodermatitis. The inciting itchiness could also be due to eczema, a group of skin conditions characterized by itchy, dry skin. Other systemic diseases — such as psoriasis, which is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes skin inflammation, and lichen planus, an immune-mediated condition that presents as a skin rash — can also cause persistent skin irritation. Finally, although neurodermatitis is generally caused by underlying environmental or skin factors, it is also often coupled with psychiatric disorders (e.g., obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression) that feature repetitive behaviors or psychological rumination. Neurodermatitis can easily become a chronic, debilitating condition. As the individual scratches the irritated area, it tends to become progressively irritated and itchier, creating a continuous cycle of scratching and itching that can eventually lead to skin thickening.

Arecur Derma contains natural regenerating peptides,  in its composition, including, in particular,

apidaecins, rojal jelly proteins and abaecins, so it works effectively in atopic and contact dermatitis, promotes cell regeneration at the site of erosive defects. Arecur Derma normalizes the metabolic process in the skin – this is important for effective counteraction to harmful bacteria and allergens. This improves the skin condition in patients with atopic and allergic contact dermatitis.

In seborrheic dermatitis, it heals keratinization, reduces peeling. In neurodermatitis, Arecur soothes the skin, accelerates the healing of skin wounds, cracks, reduces inflammation and itching.

For effective healing of the skin in case of dermatitis, it is enough to smear the skin with Arecur 3-4 times a day for 7-10 days .If necessary, treatment can be extended, since Arecur Derma has no clinically proven allergic reactions and toxic complications over many years of use in patients.
